I graduated from Brighton University with a BA in Illustration and later went on to complete a PGCE. I am currently living in Brighton, teaching full time and working as a freelance illustrator.

I am inspired by literature, arts and crafts and vintage paraphenalia. I enjoy hunting around carboots and thrift shops for: vintage florals, old photographs, torn books with yellow pages, old craft books, magazines and advertisements from the past, textiles that can be ripped up and used again - anything that catches my eye - to use in my work.
